﴿لَا يُحِبُّ اَبَا بَكۡرٍ وَّ عُمَرَ مُنَافِقٌ وَّلَا يُبۡغِضُهُمَا مُؤۡمِنٌ﴾ i.e., a true believer has devotion towards (Sayyiduna) Abu Bakr and ‘Umar (رَضِیَ الـلّٰـهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُمَا) and a hypocrite bears malice towards them.

﴿عُمَرُ سِرَاجُ اَهۡلِ الۡجَنَّةِ﴾ i.e., (Sayyiduna) ‘Umar (رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ) is the lamp of the dwellers of Jannah.

﴿هٰذَا رَجُلٌ لَّا يُحِبُّ الۡبَاطِلَ﴾ i.e., he (Sayyiduna ‘Umar رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ) is the person who never likes falsehood.

‘A heavenly person will come to you’, then Sayyiduna ‘Umar رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ arrived.

﴿رِضَا اللّٰهِ رِضَا عُمَرَ وَ رِضَا عُمَرَ رِضَا اللّٰهِ﴾ i.e., the pleasure of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ is the pleasure of Sayyiduna ‘Umar (رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ) and the pleasure of Sayyiduna ‘Umar (رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ) is the pleasure of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ.

﴿اِنَّ اللّٰهَ جَعَلَ الۡحَقَّ عَلٰي لِسَانِ عُمَرَ وَ قَلۡبِه﴾ i.e. Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ placed the truth upon the tongue and heart of ‘Umar (رَضِىَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُ).
