It is narrated that Sayyidatuna Halimah Sa’diyyah رَضِیَ اللهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهَا would also nurse her own offspring; therefore, our Beloved Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم would suckle from a single side only, however much hungry he صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was.

Indicating towards this faith-enlightening blessed habit of the Beloved and Blessed Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم, A’la Hadrat, Imam Ahmad Raza Khan عَـلَيْهِ رَحْمَةُ الـرَّحْمٰن has mentioned in his poetic volume, ‘Hadaiq-e-Bakhshish’:
Bhaiyon kay liye tark-e-pistan karayn
Doodh peeton ki nisfat* pay lakhaun Salam
صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ تَعَالٰى عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
Dear Islamic brothers! Now you realized that to what extent, the noble companions رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُم had the passion of selflessness within them! Surely, to sacrifice your favourite thing in the path of Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ is really a great deed of reward. In the beginning of the fourth part of the Holy Quran, Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ has stated:
