The Fish of Madinah

Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ is really pleased with them,’ and this verse of Surah Al-Hashr was revealed:

وَ یُؤۡثِرُوۡنَ   عَلٰۤی   اَنۡفُسِہِمۡ    وَ  لَوۡ   کَانَ  بِہِمۡ  خَصَاصَۃٌ   ؕ۟  وَ مَنۡ  یُّوۡقَ  شُحَّ  نَفۡسِہٖ    فَاُولٰٓئِکَ   ہُمُ   ا لۡمُفۡلِحُوۡنَ   ۚ﴿۹﴾

And prefer the refugees over themselves even if they themselves are in dire need; and whoever is saved from the greed of his carnal self. Only they are the successful ones.

[Kanz-ul-Iman (Translation of Quran)] (Part 28, Surah Al-Hashr, verse 9)

(Khaza`in-ul-‘Irfan, pp. 984; amended)

May Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ have mercy on him and forgive us without accountability for his sake!

Beloved Prophet did not keep food for the next day

Dear Islamic brothers! If we think over the above-stated parable, we collect many Madani pearls of lessons that it contains. For example, the Prophet of Rahmah, the Intercessor of Ummah صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم was spending such a simple life that none of the Ummahat-ul-Mu`mineen رَضِىَ الـلّٰـهُ تَعَالٰی عَـنْهُـنَّ had food at their house that night. The Noble Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم had such a firm trust in Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ that he صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم did not keep food for the next day. Umm-ul-Mu`mineen, Sayyidatuna ‘Aaishah
