· I will not find fault with the food or other permissible things. C If my food finishes, then instead of asking for more, I will wait patiently.
· I will recite ‘بِسۡـمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحۡـمٰنِ الرَّحِيۡمِ’ before drinking tea (or milk) so as to gain strength to worship, recite the Holy Quran, write (Islamic literature) and study Islamic books.
· I will recite ‘اَلۡحَمۡدُ لِلّٰهِ’ after I have finished drinking.
· Those who drink milk can also make the following intention: With Ṣalāt-‘Alan-Nabī before and after, I will recite Masnūn Du’ā[1] after drinking milk.
صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ تَعَالٰى عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
· I will recite ‘بِسۡـمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحۡـمٰنِ الرَّحِيۡمِ’ before wearing and/or taking off my Kurta.
[1] This is the Du’ā recited after drinking milk: اَللّٰهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَـنَا فِيْهِ وَزِدْنَا مِنْهُ Translation: O Allah (عَزَّوَجَلَّ)! Grant us blessings in this and grant us more.
