· I will see the Holy Quran with the intention of earning reward; I will touch it with respect, kiss it, touch it with my eyes and place it on my head.
· Obeying Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ and His Beloved and Blessed Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم I will recite اَعُوۡذُ and بِسۡـمِ اللّٰهِ and then start reciting the Holy Quran.
· I will recite it with the rules of Tajwīd, i.e., with the correct pronunciation of Arabic letters, the various pauses (Awqāf), in a proper style, with the appropriate stretches and pauses.
· I will recite it in the state of Wuḍū facing the Qiblaĥ whilst sitting in the position one sits during Ṣalāĥ (when reciting Tashaĥĥud).
· Acting upon the order of a Ḥadīš, I will cry during the recitation, and if I am unable to cry, I will make my face look as though I am crying.
صَلُّوۡا عَلَى الۡحَبِيۡب صَلَّى اللّٰهُ تَعَالٰى عَلٰى مُحَمَّد
· In order to please Allah عَزَّوَجَلَّ, obeying the Quranic command I will listen to the recitation very attentively and quietly.
