he صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم looked at something he صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم lowered his eyes, he صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم did not look around unnecessarily. In fact, he صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم would always remain attentive towards the Knower of the Unseen عَزَّوَجَلَّ, always thinking of Him and pondering and contemplating about the affairs of the afterlife.[1]He صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم looked more towards the earth than the sky’ is a testament of extreme bashfulness and shyness. One adīš mentions that whenever he    صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم sat to talk, he صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم often raised his blessed eyes to the sky.[2] This raising of eyes was in anticipation of Divine revelation otherwise, he صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم usually looked towards the earth.[3]

My life changed by the blessing of celebrating Mīlād

Islamic sisters! For Muslims, what greater ‘Day of Favour’ is there than the birthday of our Holy Prophet صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم? All bestowments have been granted as adaqaĥ of him. This day is more auspicious than Eid, because Eid was also granted as his adaqaĥ. This is why he صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم explained his reason for fasting on blessed Mondays: ‘فِيۡهِ وُلِدتُّI was born on this day.

اَلْـحَمْـدُ لـِلّٰـه عَزَّوَجَلَّ! In many locations of many countries around the world Eid Mīlād-un-Nabī صَلَّى اللهُ تَعَالٰى عَلَيْهِ وَاٰلِهٖ وَسَلَّم is wonderfully celebrated every year by the global & non-political religious movement for the propagation of the Quran and Sunnaĥ – Dawat-e-Islami. On the eve of 12th Rabī’-un-Nūr, a grand Mīlād-congregation takes place and on Eid day many processions attended by hundreds of thousands   of devotees of Rasūl march through streets whilst passionately
